IronWrath’s Master Storyteller was a grand undertaking on a very ambitious scale which took almost three years to complete.
The groundwork for this ambitious and visionary project was meticulously envisioned and carefully structured into three distinct phases, forming a solid foundation for its execution. Each of these phases revolved around a core objective, aimed at exploring and showcasing the depth of the project's visionary concept.
The first phase delved into the creation of the storyline for a concept album, merging music and narrative to craft a captivating and immersive experience for the audience. This involved creating a sonic framework in a cinematic universe that could weave a tale that would resonate with listeners on both an emotional and intellectual level.
With the concept album in place, the project moved into its second phase, which entailed developing a live show centered around a film that would depict the captivating story conveyed through the album's music. By combining live performances, visual projections, and cinematic elements, the tour aimed to transport the audience into the narrative world of the concept album, allowing them to travel down the rabbit hole of imagination.
In its final phase, the goal was to create the cinematic aspects of the show that would embody the “Intentions & Obstacles” of storytelling as imbraced by the album. A NEW MODEL OF LIVE CONCERT
IronWrath's Master Storyteller came with many complexities and required countless man-hours to see it through. We were faced with the challenge of creating a live visual experience that surpassed the boundaries of a typical concert, while still maintaining the essence of a captivating live performance. In order to tackle this equation, we had to account for numerous factors to make this a viable show, such as travel logistics, rider expenses, and ensuring that the show was relatable to audiences. It was crucial for us to find something that would not only appeal to booking agents but also serve as a valuable asset for Performing Arts Centers or Residency Engagements.
To accomplish this, IronWrath's Master Storyteller embarked on a creative journey that combined the energy of a live concert with the immersive experience of a feature film odyssey. This unique approach allowed us to evoke emotions in parts of the performance that would normally be inaccessible within the confines of a traditional concert setting. Moreover, this innovative concept ensured that there were no dull moments during the transitions, creating a seamless flow throughout the entire performance.
The road to achieving this uncompromising vision was no easy feat. A substantial 18 months were dedicated to the detailed process of pre-production to post-production, meticulously refining every aspect of the show to bring forth the finished product.
A DISRUPTIVE DISTRIBUTION
With the concert film now completed, IronWrath took their artistic vision a step further by transforming IronWrath's Master Storyteller into a captivating feature film, designed specifically for the silver screen. By integrating additional scenes featuring the band and theatrical bookends, the Band aims to provide viewers with a fully immersive journey down the rabbit hole of imagination and beyond.
Looking ahead, IronWrath has exciting plans for the future. They intend to release a modified version of IronWrath's Master Storyteller in late 2024, tailoring it for popular streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Max.
